Employers use temporary employees for supplemental coverage for peaks in the business cycle, for medical and maternity leave, for holiday and vacation coverge, and special projects. Our temp-to-hire option gives employers the opportunity to assess candidates' work performance and fit before hiring. Temporary employees can also be utilized for IT Contract and Project Management positions.

IT Contract and Project Management Positions:
- In cases where Employers require staff with highly specialized or unique skills and experience for a designated period of time, PSI can provide employees on a contract basis.
- Contract fees vary based on prevailing market conditions in the immediate area.
Temporary:
- Our temporary employees bring time sheets to each assignment and fill in the hours worked. Please review the time sheets for accuracy. Your signature authorizes PSI to pay these labor costs on your behalf and confirms your acceptance of the work performed. Our temporary employees are paid weekly.
- PSI pays all payroll costs for its temporary employees: FICA, State & Federal Unemployment taxes, Workers' Compensation, and general liability insurance. Clients are billed weekly and invoices are due upon receipt.
- Temp-to-Hire positions: Occasionally an employer chooses to hire a temporary employee. After a temporary employee completes 600 hours (roughly 15 weeks) while on PSI's payroll, the employer may transfer him/her onto the company's payroll with no placement fee. Prior to the completion of 600 hours, a discount is provided based on the number of hours worked.
